L’Arche Calgary operates on a mix of government funding and the support of the local population.

In 2007, L’Arche Calgary launched a unique fundraiser dubbed the ‘Cake Walk’ to help meet the changing and additional needs of its members. The Cake Walk exhibits work-of-art cakes interpreting the theme ‘Love is for Everyone,’ providing sponsors and donors an opportunity to support a good cause, while publicizing their commitment to inclusion and equality.
