What is L'Arche?

L'Arche Calgary is part of the International Federation of L'Arche, founded in 1964 by Jean Vanier in response to the need of people with developmental disabilities to find a valid place in society. We endeavour to create homes that are places of growth and acceptance where healthy relationships with others are fundamental. We believe that every person is unique and has a right to become the best they can be mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. [Read more]
