Our mission is to make known the gifts of people with intellectual disabilities, working together toward a more humane society.
In L’Arche, people who have intellectual disabilities and those who come to assist share life and daytime activities together in family-like settings that are integrated into local neighborhoods. L’Arche in Canada has nearly 200 homes and workshops or day programs. These are grouped into what L’Arche calls “communities”.

Alberta Council of Disability Services (ACDS) is a not-for-profit association. It serves community-based service provider members who support people with developmental disabilities or brain injuries.
Alberta Health Services – Regional Capacity Assessment Team – Mental Health
Provides services in assessing adults and older adults, clinical consultations and giving presentations and training workshops in the Calgary zone.
Cerebral Palsy Guide is a national support organization dedicated to educating individuals and families about cerebral palsy and other birth injuries.
